Local 49, International Union of Elevator Constructors

Greetings from North Florida, home to Local 49 of the International Union of Elevator Constructors. Local 49 is made up of mechanics, apprentices, and helpers that build, maintain, repair, and modernize elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, stage lifts, moving walks, wheelchair lifts and other vertical transportation equipment in North Florida. Local 49 is an AFL/CIO affiliated labor union providing bargaining unit representation, education, pension, medical, dental, vision plan and other traditional union services to members all across North Florida.
